Row House Improvements – Bathroom

Welcome to the ongoing record of the things we’ve done to our 1832 Federal row house in Philadelphia. I have a horrible memory so this helps me keep track of when we do things.

This is the before picture of our bathroom. I don’t think this shade of yellow is a terribly great color for a bathroom. The sink was nice and roomy though.

The first thing we had to replace was the toilet which wobbled precariously. Then, we updated the vanity. The faucet broke so that got replaced too. Finally, we updated the lighting. There is recessed lighting in this room as well as throughout the home, but overhead task lighting is still nice in a bathroom. We kept the medicine cabinet. The doors are mirrored on the inside as well so it provides a great view of the back of your head.
