After doing a tremendous amount of work to launch the new Drexel.edu/medicine website, I am finally getting back to things like analyzing user behavior. This sounds boring but the exciting, creative part, is taking the data and making it visually interesting with charts. No one wants rows and columns of data so it’s all about the pie and bar charts. Everyone loves pie.
If the report is aesthetically pleasing, there is a greater chance people will read it. I’m sure there is data to support this somewhere but creativity is great to use as leverage to make your work stand out. I personally feel like I owe it to people if they’re giving me time to review the report, to put some extra effort in and make the report attractive.
